| Collection Donation
of £10
Collection is a major cost to the
charity and we request a minimum donation of £10 towards the
running costs of our van. This donation represents less than
half of your local council's charge for collection.
Condition of donated appliances
We accept good working and faulty
appliances that can be economically repaired. We do not
accept very old appliances and those in poor condition. Our
goal is to produce good working appliances; we are not a
waste collection service. We reserve the right to decline
donations at our discretion.
What we do with your
appliance
We repair, safety test, clean and
deliver at low cost to those in need in Wiltshire.
If we cannot repair, we may be able
to use some parts to allow us to repair other appliances.
All rejected appliances and parts are recycled whenever
possible. Around 90% of an electrical appliance can be
recycled.

page. These charities would
love to accept your donations of sound furniture and clean, soft
furnishings (which must carry the ‘carelessness causes
fire’ label).
